Olive Lifesciences Gains Organic Certification

OliveLifesciences, Bangalore, India, has received organic certificationin compliance with the U.S. National Organic Program (NOP) and National Program for Organic Production (NPOP) for processing of herbs and herbal extracts. NPOP is considered equivalent to Council Regulation (EC) No.834/2007 and Swiss Organic Farming Ordinance for plant products originating in India. Olive Lifesciences will be starting off with organic herbs including turmeric, marigold, and sesame. The company will continue to handle nonorganic standardized herbal extracts and specialty ingredients.
